Childrens Divison
DRESS CODE: Pink Leotard, Pink Tights, Pink Ballet Shoes, Black Tap Shoes, Skirt (optional), hair must be in bun  secured off of face including bangs.
             Gentlemen: White t-shirt, Black form fitting pants or shorts, white socks, Black Ballet Shoes, Black Tap Shoes

  Fall 2018-Spring 2019 Schedule 

  Dancers ages 18M-6 years of age may participate in the childrens division classes.  Classes include Music, Dance and Me, Mini Ballet, Ballet/Tap I and Ballet/ Tap II.

  • Music, Dance and Me- Dancers 18 months (1.5 yr) - 36 months (2.5 yr) explore basic body motion and movement through incoporation of music, props and curriculum based activities. Dancers will learn about space awareness, levels and size.  

  • Ballet/Tap I- Dancers 3-4 years of age learn basic ballet and tap vocabulary and movements.  Dancers will develop an understanding of moving in space , learning and retaining choreography and how to have fun while doing it!

  • Ballet/Tap II- Dancers 5-6 years of age or a second year Ballet/Tap student will continue to grow their vocabulary and exploration of tap and dance steps and movements.  Dancers will focus on refining their already aquired knowledge to prepare them for their graudation to the Conservatory Division.

Ballet Division
DRESS CODE: Level color leotard any style, Pink Tights,  Pink Leather Ballet shoes (B.B-3) Pink Canvas Ballet Shoes (4-6), Pointe shoes, Hair must be in secured clean bun or french twist- NO BANGS
Gentlemen: White T-Shirt, Black Tights, Black Ballet Shoes, Black or White socks.
*Level colors were chosen from Discount Dance Supply.  


Ballet Divison Students are placed accordingly following their participation in a placement class. Ballet Divison students begin at the age of 7, however,  students 6 years of age are welcome with previous ballet dance experience and participation in a placement class.   Students are always encouraged to take more than one ballet class per week.  More participation allows students to grow their understanding both mentally and physically at a quicker and more proficient rate to create noticeable progress and advancement.

  • Ballet Basic (PURPLE) 
Students are required to participate in one ballet class per week.  Two  classes per week are recommended

  • Ballet 2 (HOT PINK)
Students are required to participate in a minimum of two classes per week including one "combo" level class.

  • Ballet 3 (FOREST GREEN)
Students required to participate in a minimum of two classes per week including one "combo" level class.

  • Ballet 4 (GREY)
Students are required to participate in a minimum of three ballet classes per week including one "combo" level class.

  • Ballet 5 (MAROON)
Students are required to take three  ballet classes per week.  In order to begin pre-pointe work, students must enroll in the required amount of classes.

  • Ballet 6 (BLACK)
Students are required to take four  ballet classes per week;five ballet classes are recommended.  Pointe is taken at this level with permission from the Director.

Pointe / Variations
Dress Code: Level color leotard,Pink Tights, Pointe Shoes, skirts permitted.  Hair must be in secured clean bun or french twist. NO BANGS

Pointe Class and Variations are offered to students 12 years of age and up or by invitation from Director.  Students must participate in at least 3 days of ballet division classes in order to take variations and/or pointe.  

Modern
DRESS CODE: Level Color Leotard, Footless or Convertable pink tights, Hair MUST be secured off of face. NO BANGS
Gentlemen: White T-Shirt, Black Tights.


 Our curriculum is diverse and contains several different schools of modern dance including Release, Horton and Graham.
Package students will be automatically enrolled for  their appropriate level modern class.

Jazz
DRESS CODE: Level Color Leotard,  Jazz Pants or Leggings,  Bloch Tan Slip On Jazz Shoes.  Hair MUST be secured off of face.  NO BANGS.
Gentlemen: White T-Shirt, Jazz Pants or form fitting pant, Black Jazz Shoe.

 Students will explore  curriculum incorporating both Broadway and Commercial styles.  Bundle students will be automatically be enrolled for their appropriate level jazz class.

Tap

DRESS CODE: Level Color Leotard, Black Jazz Pants or Leggings, Black split sole tie tap shoes, Hair MUST be secured off of face.  NO BANGS.
If student is enrolled only as a tap student, student may wear any color/style leotard.
Gentlemen: Any color T-Shirt (NO DESIGNS OR LOGOS), Black jazz pants or form fitting pants, Black split sole tie tap shoes.


Package students will be automatically be enrolled in their proper level.  Tap is open to ballet divison students and those who do not wish to take ballet

Hip Hop
DRESS CODE: Comfortable clothing, no jeans or baggy t-shirts and hoodies. Sneakers.


Students will learn different styles of hip hop including popping, locking, breaking and explore commerical/New Style Hip Hop.
Hip Hop is open to ballet division students and those who do not wish to take ballet.

Contemporary

DRESS CODE:  Level colored leotard or solid color leotard, capris or leggings permitted. Bare feet.

 Dancers will learn how to move through expression of movement and space.  Contemporary is a fusion of ballet, jazz and modern.  
Dancers are encouraged to enroll in ballet, but is not required to participate in contemporary.

Acro 
DRESS CODE: Level Color Leotard OR Gymnastics Style Leotard. NO TIGHTS. Hair MUST be secured off of face. NO BANGS
Gentlemen: Form Fitting T-Shirt/Tank Top, Form Fitting Shorts.

We are an Acrobatic Arts Certified Studio! Our Acro program is taught with the  world renowned curriculum created by Acrobatic Arts.  This program is progressive and focuses on strength, precision, repetition and safety.  Students will learn acrobatic skills while incorporating it with dance movement.  

Adult Classes
DRESS CODE: Ballet- Any style and color leotard, Skirts permitted, pink or black tights, pink ballet shoes, pointe shoes, Hair Must be secured off of face preferably in a bun or french twist.
Gentlemen:  Any style T-Shirt/Tank Top or leotard, Tights or form fitting pants or shorts, Black Ballet Shoes.  
Tap- Any style clothing that allows dancer to be mobile, Leather tap shoes.

 Adult classes are for students 18 years of age and up.

Private Lessons

Private lessons may be requested with any of our faculty.  Students are not required to be enrolled as a bundle student in order to receive private lessons.
Request for a private lesson(s) must be submitted via email to the Director.
